The Yak is a long-haired cattle that lives in the Himalayas (Mongolia and Central Asia). The wool of the Yak is naturally soft to protect them from the extremely cold temperatures of the region.
The wool feels sumptuous, has a luxurious feel and is warmer than, say, sheep's wool without being sultry. Not only does this natural material breathe better than other wools such as cashmere, it has numerous other benefits as well.
